Masiga strike takes Ligi Ndogo 45 high

Ligi Ndogo capped a successful weekend by downing Yanga 2-1 in Nyahururu.The impressive run started in Nyanza when hosts Muhoroni had to contend with a point in a 2-2 draw.Goals by twin strikers Abbey Kunrunmi and Emmanuel Juma capitalized for Ligi.Tied at 1-1 coming into the second half,courtesy of Abbey Kunrunmi's goal,Dieudonne Masiga left it until late to surprise the hosts and make it .667 on the road.
Ligi Ndogo's steady rise sees them at 45 points with 21 matches played.Kariobangi Sharks is second with 53 points having played two matches more.League leaders,Muhoroni are at 55 points and 22 matches.
