Planets v Admiral Preview

The Ligi Ndogo Planets travel to Mombasa this weekend (17 and 18 March 2012) to face Admiral in the fourth fixture match.Admiral are seventh early in the league,having played three matches,won two and lost one. They have won their last two games.The two teams have never faced off previously but last season played at the same level but in different leagues.

Admiral played in the FKL Nationwide One last season and finished seventh.They won eleven games,drew eleven and lost eight.Four of their loses came against teams that finished below them: Administration Police (#9),Mathare Youth(#13),Gusii United (#12) and Strathmore(#14).They lost away (1-0) to Oserian,the team that eventually gained promotion to the premier league, but won at home by the same margin.

They have won four of their last ten games, drawn three and lost three.

The Admiral have scored twelve goals in their last ten games and conceded the same number in equivalent play. Most of the goals (10) have been conceded while playing away. They have conceded only two goals playing at home, the latest being a two all draw in November against K.R.A.However they have played only one other match at home,since then.

Their goals scored away and at home are evenly matched; 7.Admiral’s last loss away was against Mahakama (2-0) in March last year. They lost 2-1 at home to K.R.A in the same month.

Their last win at home was 2-0 against Gatundu on 11 March, their latest game this season. They have won away this season,a 3-2 win over Nairobi's Moyas on 4th March. They won 2-0 away at Agro Chemicals on 11 September last season. This is the only time they won both home and away.

They have won three matches away and ten at home, and have had six draws. Five have been forced at home. Their highest scoring win at home was a 3-1 drubbing of Nairobi Stima on 5 November last year.This year they won 3-2 at Moyas.Their worst loss at home was a 1-2 drop to KRA on 20 March last season. They lost 7-3 away at Mathare in their third game of the season last year in their worst away loss.

They have scored five goals in their last two wins and conceded two.They have scored five and conceded five in their last five.They lost ,drew,lost,lost before winning their last two.

They have won once three times in a row (period between 12 June and 26 June).Two of the teams,Oserian and Magongo,finished first and second in the league.

They have won thrice two times in a row,the latest being this season against Moyas and Gatundu.

Last season,they won eleven times,drew same number of times and lost eight times.They scored 40 goals and conceded 37 on the way to finishing seventh.

They have won nine times at home,lost five times ,drawn once and had 32 of their 44 points at home.They were second in most points gained at home while scoring 23 goals at home and conceding 11.

They have won two away,lost six times and drawn seven away.They have scored 17 times away and 26 times at home.They gained 12 points away and finished tenth all time in last season's 16 team FKL Nationwide One.

The Planets are coming off a tough 0-0 draw away to KRA but have never had problems scoring or winning on the road.

The Planets finished second:W20:D3:L4.They scored 56 goals and conceeded 17;1.87 goals scored and 0.57 goals conceeded per game.They have not conceded a goal in the three matches this season.

The Planets have drawn their last match having won four in a row since 2011.
They have won twelve matches at home and eight away in all competitions.They have drawn twice,at home and away.Their last loss at home was on 24 August 2011 to eventual league winners,Muhoroni Youth,1-0.It lost by the same score away to Kariobangi Sharks on 11 May 2011.

The highest scoring win at home was on 28 May.A 4-0 win against Karungu.It won 5-0 away to Makarios on 13 March.
