Brighter Stars will be representing the whole of Lamu when
they visit Nairobi this weekend in the FKF Division One schedule. The last time they travelled upcountry was not
a pleasant affair. They soaked in 18 goals in two matches. Whatever the outcome
this weekend, they won’t be standing on sinking sand. They recovered to beat
fellow islanders Coast United and are favoured to get back on track as the
league progresses. They play Mahakama and Ligi Ndogo on Saturday and Sunday
respectively.
Sparki Youth are yet to play a match this season. Their
schedule against Mahakama last weekend was cancelled at the last minute. They
may taste action when they invite Kambakia Christian Centre.
KRA take a perfect 4-0 record to the coast to face Coast
United while Kibera Celtic invite Maweni.FC Talanta will be idle as their
planned opponents, Muranga United have been kicked out of the league due to fixture
forfeiture.
