Uganda Junior League (UJL) is a non-profit educational organization
whose mission is to foster the physical, mental and emotional growth and
development of Uganda's youth through the sports disciplines of soccer,basketball,tennis and swimming at different levels of age and competition. Ligi Ndogo has made it part of its calendar of events.
Three Ligi Ndogo categories have
been participating in the event for the last three years.These are:U9,U12 and
U14 teams.
The tournament is normally held during the April hoildays and runs for a week.Ligi Ndogo caused eternal ripples at the first tournament when it featured Hadija Omar,a female player,alongside male participants.Skepical at first,the organisers were won over when she displayed skill unnatural for her age and gender.
This year,the excitement generated by the Tanzania Chipkizi Future tournament has seen a spillover as most players are eagerly awaiting participation.Come be a part of it!
